November thunder, too. i'm thinkin the last time i paid attention to winter thunder, i had the good sense to tape it...

"Do you smoke?"
"No ma'am, not really."
"Not really? Your sweater kinda smells like smoke" she tells me with that disapproving not-looking-at-you voice.
"Hn. Are you royalty?"
She smiles, thinking i'm flirting. "Ha, no. Why on earth would you ask that?"
"Your sweater kinda smells like Burger King."

(low blood sugar can make me snippy...)


i was hoping to wait until i sold the house, but once again, the universe isnae consulting me, just poking me. so after leaving work early today and spending the better part of the evening with stuff stuck to me, and being laughed at for going pale when they draw blood, it looks like i'm going to go to a real doctor on tuesday.






why do these things feel so stupid to me? why does it compound things to feel so weak?

i think of all the pain, betrayal is the worst: sneak attacks, infidelity, little lies... i can take it if i can see it, i think.
but if i ignore it so it has to scream, it's different. it's my body after all, ne?
